Reaffirmed Middle School Ministry
The Reaffirm Middle Student Ministry is a place where youth are reaffirmed in their awareness of who they are and understand what rightfully belongs to them as kingdom citizens. We believe through careful study and acting upon the word of God, the Holy Spirit enlightens each child to live out their calling and purpose. As a result, they will impact their community and radically change their world for Christ. Likewise, what Jesus did while he walked the earth in human form. Before his ascension he commanded his disciples, “therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20 NIV)
We believe that God has already given each student gifts and talents that must be cultivated to fulfill their callings and purposes to have dominion here in the earth. With this same freedom, we desire to cultivate an atmosphere of freedom. As recorded in Genesis 1:28 ESV God gave the commandment, “Be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” With knowledge of who they are and the authority they possess as authority figures in the earth, nothing will be impossible for them.
Mark 16:17-18 “and these signs will follow those who believe: In my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick; and they will recover.”
